Department of Mathematics
Mathematics is a core subject for all Engineering disciplines. It serves as a valuable tool for research and development in all branches of Engineering. In today's world of rapidly advancing technology, Mathematical techniques are being increasingly applied in various branches of engineering. The department is committed to the promotion of Mathematics in all its aspects. The aim is not to merely make the student proficient in computational skills, but also to develop in him an aptitude and precision.
The department is headed by Prof. Madhusudan Govind Tandale a reputed and experienced Faculty.

Keeping in view the aims and aspirations of the cadets vis-a-vis the industry requirements, the department strives to update and equip the cadets with essential and critical knowledge of the world at large and their day-to-day curriculum in particular as also the economic implications of their activities aimed at enhancing their ability to communicate articulately (orally and in written form) and at the same time to stimulate and create their workstation in the class so as to facilitate their transition into the Marine field.
