‘ Ganesh Utsav’ Festival was celebrated from 15 th to 21 st Sept 07 with much fervor in the campus. Ganesh idol was brought in presence of dhol-tasha. Prof. Rahul Z.More, Project Co-ordinator, MAEER’S MANET, Pune was invited for sthapana of Ganesh idol. Regular Aarti were held in presence of various guests such as an Olympic Arjun Award winner Capt. Gopal Devang. An inter college Basket ball match was also held on 19 th Sept 07.

A cultural programme evening was also arranged with events such as dancing, skit and singing .Cadets form all batches participated the programme .Satyanarayana Puja was also held on 20 th Sept 07. The festival lasted for seven days in the college and Ganapati Visarjan took place on 21 st Sept 07. The procession took place on the seventh day with all rituals, customs and traditions. The ‘Ganesh Utsav’ Festival in MANET was enthusiastically and successfully celebrated by cadets.
