In today's highly competitive world, Marine profession has a long history dating back to the historic period when commerce compelled man to seek far away markets. It has evolved with times into a sophisticated and professional work area.

Based on the framework drawn by D.G. Shipping, the qualified and experienced staff at MANET strives to impart in-depth knowledge along with a lot of emphasis on practical training, thus customizing the education to the needs of today's shipping industry.

At MANET, We conduct 4 years B.Tech degree course in Marine Engineering as well as 3 years B.Sc.(Nautical Science) course for deck cadets. Both are fully residential courses, approved by Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India.

At MANET, a cadet is ensured through and wholesome training founded on academic expertise coupled with up-to date infrastructural facilities in terms of Ship-In-Campus, Engineering, Marine workshop, Life boat facility, Seamanship lab, well equipped science laboratories and a fully equipped library.

In Ship-In-Campus, we have facilities for practical training of cadets of Engineering as well as Nautical science. The structural training in Ship-In-Campus is provided to cadets for hands-on training on Engine room Machineries for Engineering cadets and on Bridge equipments for deck cadets.

We have also tied-up with a Japanese shipping giant like “ Mitsui OSK Lines Maritime (India) Pvt. Ltd.”, who has partnered with us for imparting professional training to their Junior Engineers, working on board, as well as for placement of MANET cadets.
