The Marine Workshop is the backbone of any Marine Institute.
It plays a vital role in mentoring our cadets into competent Marine Engineers. |
All the faculty members & instructors of marine workshop have a long & rich marine experience.
The workshop is well equipped with Diesel Engines, Compressors, Purifiers machinery equipment & associated systems. We have most of the machines that exist on board ships so that the cadets can have better visualization of the job requirement on board as a marine engineer.
We in the Marine Workshop ensure that our cadets experience professional attitude right from beginning & learn & master Good Engineering Practices which will make them successful Marine Engineers.

Mechanical Workshop
Basic engineering workshop is the core of technology & engineering.
Technocrats & engineers are created by studying fundamental machining processes like, Turning, Milling, Shaping, Drilling, Grinding, Boring etc.
Work skill is the keyword of our engineering workshop. |
The creativity & skills required for acquiring above processes & percolating them to the studious candidates is a devoted & dedicated job of our well trained & experienced instructors.
The students are also getting trained on the processes like Smithy, Welding, Gas cutting, Forming & Fitting.
Safety is the prime concern of every individual working on the shop floor. Full care has been taken by providing to each candidate with helmets, goggles, safety shoes, boiler suits along with first-aid facilities.
Accidents are avoided by displaying safety charts on shop floor.
